The 58-year-old actor recently showed his followers what his property looked like after the fire that took place in the Ventura County mountains last month.
Although he was shocked, Wilson kept a positive outlook as he reflected on the incident, saying that his property was “heavily damaged, but we were able to save the house,” while many of his neighbors were not as lucky.
“We are some of the luckiest people in Ventura County. The fire was absolutely devastating, and two of our closest neighbors lost their homes completely,” he wrote in an Instagram post on November 11.
In the post, he also praised his wife, writer Holiday Reinhorn, 60, for protecting their animals, including their pet pigs Amy and Snorty, who managed to escape in time.
